I can't recommend Training Ground highly enough. Amazing trainers, inviting community, and great communication. I've been working with Keith Lee who is simply awesome. Fun, motivating, experienced, and a dedicated weightlifter himself, which is evident in the quality of his coaching. He's taken the time to understand my specific goals and tailored a program that challenges me while being realistic and achievable. If you're looking for a friendly gym and a trainer who truly cares about your progress I would definitely check them out!

I am a 46 year old golf professional that was looking for some pain relief through past injuries and to hit the ball farther. Steve and I went to work and in a short period of time I was waking up pain free for the first time in years. Before we started I was swinging the club 110 mph with a ball speed around 160 and now I'm at 114/115 with a ball speed of 167-170. I feel stronger then ever with more mobility. Steve's knowledge and understanding on how to train people is unparalleled. Love it at TG

Training Ground is well-equipped for a variety of fitness goals and client types. Their fitness equipment and training space is well-maintained and clean. Their personalized fitness plans are dynamic and thoughtful, and trainers explain how each exercise helps your body, while also correcting form and offering encouragement. My own trainer, Josue, and every other trainer I observed were motivating and kind, and they always brought positive energy to the space. I would highly recommend TG for a beginner wanting to learn how to workout, and for an advanced client with specific fitness goals!

I started training here a month ago and I can confidently say it is the best training I have received. The facility is amazing and my trainer, Teddy, is exceptionally knowledgable and puts together curated workouts for each of our sessions to progressively and safely work towards my goals. I highly recommend Training Ground to anyone who is trying to get leaner, healthier, or stronger.

Mostly misses over the years trying to find a trainer for the long term, but the search is over. I see Hannah once a week, coming up on a year now. Her wisdom in choosing routines for 71-year-old me that are both challenging and doable have made planning time to work out — with her and on my own — a key priority for time and budget. I look better, feel better and hope I never have to stop. TG has really great trainers. Routines are completely customized and modified as needed. The gym offers an occasional optional challenge and nutritional counseling is available.

I've been training at Training Ground Ballston for over a year now, and it has been absolutely life-changing for me. I work with Lila, who is just an incredible trainer — she's so encouraging, and since she's been training me, I have felt stronger than I ever have in my life! I look forward to every session. I had no gym experience and was nervous about starting a workout routine, but the environment at Training Ground is very friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

After walking by Training Ground for almost a year, I finally stopped in to learn more about it and became a new member in November. I love how my coach Chris works to tailor each workout to my needs while at the same time helping me make progress on my goals. The gym atmosphere is full of welcoming coaches and friendly folks who are there to get a good workout in. Love the rotating playlists too! Highly recommend!

New, large facility. Modern, diverse equipment. Convenient scheduling and location. Well managed (thanks Hannah!). Justin, former college athlete, awesome to train with. Picked up so many awesome technique notes beyond what I had from previous trainer at older nearby gym. Cheaper than other gyms for the level of service they provide. I can confidently recommend for all your personal training needs.

Training ground is definitely working well for me. Having never been to a gym and being of senior age my concerns were quickly alleviated by the manager and staff. Rahim listened to all my concerns regarding previous injuries, etc and tailored the workouts accordingly. His attention to detail in the plan and especially the execution of each exercise routine resulted in steadily progressive sessions that fully meet my expectations.
